Designed for F and G Model

The included mounting hardware is designed for the OEM shifter of early cars up to 1989 and is also compatible with most aftermarket short shifters, including the WEVO Classic Shifter, JWest RennShift, and NUMERIC RACING Shifter. An M8 screw is included for attachment to the G50 gearbox in late-model G-series Porsches.

Its unique layering technique gives it a symmetrical and balanced appearance and the size, high quality wood and finish ensures a balanced feel in your hand, while its handcrafted quality sets it apart from other shifters on the market.

Easy Installation

The 917 Tribute Shift Knob installs easily. After removing the old shifter knob, you’ll have a custom-designed 7075 aluminum adapter casing that attaches to the shifter rod of your car with six set screws. This adapter allows you to securely attach the new wooden knob and provides the flexibility to change it out whenever you desire. Gone are the days of glue and crush sleeves—this system ensures a clean and reliable installation.
